A Collectivist Prayer

I thank you for growing the food on my table and building the roof over my head.
I thank you for the clean water that I drink and the fresh air that I breath.
I thank you for clothing that warms me in winter and shields me from the sun in summer.
I thank you for vehicles to transport me, roads to navigate, beaches and parks in which to recreate.
I thank you for providing labor to occupy my idle hands and a livable wage to sustain me.

I thank you for the learning that you shower upon our children and wondrous books you provide.
I thank you guiding us in the ways of right thinking and leading me along the narrow path.
I thank you for protecting me and my family from the blasphemy of the contrarian and for punishing his apostasy.

All that I have comes from you.
All that I have belongs to you.
For you create all that is good, worthwhile and worthy.
Without you, I am nothing, I have nothing.
I serve the greater good by serving you.

I pray that your lost sheep, your scattered tribes,
be they Socialists, Communists, Fascists, Nazis, Progressives or Neo-Cons,
that these heirs of Marx may one day be united under your paternal care.

The 25th Amendment Charade

Welcome to October – the month for trickery, masquerades and disguises.

So please do not be fooled for one second that the recent 25th Amendment test drive was about Donald Trump’s COVID scare.  This is a dress rehearsal for early termination of the Biden Presidency. 

The Democrat Party was cynical enough to nominate a man of clearly diminished mental capacity and then complement him with a young, vigorous far-left radical as his running-mate.  Their hope is that good old, “moderate” and road-tested Joe will be installed as President in January.  Being the “team-player’ that he is, Joe will give the job the old college try for a year or two.  Despite his best efforts, it will become obvious to Joe and everyone else, that he is not up to the task.

That’s when the 25th Amendment will be invoked for real.  

President Biden will step down with all laurels, hosannas, accolades and honors heaped up him.   He will be praised for courage and self-sacrifice, perhaps even compared to George Washington for voluntarily releasing the reigns of power for good of the nation.  Biden’s abdication will set the stage President Harris to stand for President twice as an incumbent.  This nearly guarantees a twelve-year Democrat dynasty.

However, incumbency may not prove to enough to guarantee a 12-year run.  The wheels may fall off and those ever-fickle swing voters might hanker for change.  Thus precautions must to taken – and they will.

Should the Democrats manage to flip the Senate, you can bet dollars to doughnuts that they will:

1.      Suspend the filibuster to keep annoying dissidents like Rand Paul quiet

2.      Pack the Supreme Court with gaggle of 40-something collectivists so that no Executive or Legislative initiatives are ever blunted

3.      Grant statehood to Washington DC to guarantee two more automatic Senate seats

4.      Abolish the Electoral College so that big population, liberal states like New York and California can bend the nation to their will

5.      Open the immigration floodgates and turn on the benefits to the new arrivals - thus a purchasing a fresh electoral base for a solid generation

Then we will really  see “Democracy in Action” – perhaps through the barbed wire of a gulag.

When The Sixers Woke Up As The Teeners

Effective immediately, The Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers NBA franchise will become the Philadelphia Sixteen-Nineteeners. 
For marketing and merchandising purposes the team, heretofore called the Sixers, will be known as the Teeners.

The team’s principal owner, released this statement:


“Upon the 1964 relocation of the Syracuse Nationals to Philadelphia the team’s name was changed to the Seventy-Sixers. This acknowledged Philly’s central role in the American Revolution and the year that our founding Declaration was signed.  This is what was taught in our history books and we were once proud of in a less enlightened time.
Through the 1619 Project we now see that the War For Independence was not a crusade for freedom and democracy.  Rather, it was a despicable  ploy to perpetuate slavery on American soil.  Fully 41 of the 56 signatures on the Declaration of Independence were those of slave owners.   We can no longer be associated with this shameful blot in our past.  We choose instead to be identified with groundbreaking and liberating 1619 Project."

The Teeners' owners arrived this decision via a “process, a journey that that produced exciting insights and conclusions for our city and our league”.

As befits the Teens' position as a high profile leader in the Delaware Valley, Harris called upon Philadelphia's city fathers to to rename Independence Hall to Oppression Hall in recognition of the “awful conspiracy” which it housed.  He also recommended that the Liberty Bell be smelted and recast into an over-sized set of manacles as a monument to the “painful past” that the United States has inflicted on People of Color.


Harris fully supports Commissioner Silver who is on record saying that in matters of racial justice, “the NBA may be in a position to have more of an impact on this issue than almost any other organization in the world....among the players, coaches, former players .... you have some of the most well-known people of color in the entire world.”

Furthermore, the Teens’ owners feel that Silver is on target when he observed:  “I do feel a particular obligation to focus on the African-American community in that we have a league that is roughly 75 percent African-American.  And I feel part of the obligation comes from the history of this league that I’ve inherited.” At the time of this quote:

“…only one of 30 teams have an African-American president and just two have African-American general managers.  The only other person of color running a franchise is the Toronto Raptors’ Masai Ujiri, who is Nigerian. Since 2010, just six of 30 openings for president of basketball operations or general manager were filled with black candidates. And the situation is only slightly better for black head coaches.”

Harris continued, “it is due to the patriarchy and White Privilege that people such as myself and the other owners enjoy positions of power over the Persons of Color who play the games.  Therefore, the Teeners have proposed to Commissioner and the NBA Board of Governors that within five years:

1.      All non-POC NBA franchise owners divest themselves of team ownership

2.      All non-POC Executives with titles of Vice President of greater, resign their positions – this includes League Headquarters as well as at each Franchise

3.      The NBA and WNBA will merge into one gender-neutral league with a uniform pay scale

4.      The NBA will be governed by the Players Collective

5.      The international aspect of the NBA will be acknowledged in the collective by voting representation of the NBA's international partners, most prominently the People’s Republic of China.  (Note: PRC input will be vital to organizing the workers’ collective.)


“These important changes have been 401 years in the making”, concluded Harris.

A Pledge I Can Live With

I am an active, longtime member of a very conservative, traditional and faith-based organization.  We are dedicated to community service, charity and assistance to members in need.
  Each meeting begins with a recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance.  I look downward and maintain a respectful silence.

As a libertarian, I embrace “liberty and justice for all”.  As a Christian, I profess that I exist only “under God” and am governed by His Law alone.  As a An-Cap I believe that America’s wars of intervention are murder, our ubiquitous and confiscatory taxation is theft, that Central Bank money creation is fraud, and governance by the unelected, Administrative State is far from the rule of law.  Therefore. I recuse my myself from pledging allegiance to the mob who perpetrates this violence on honest Americans and to the banner behind which they hide.

And then there is the “indivisible” clause.  There a weighty amount of scholarly opinion supporting the view that the Constitution is a voluntary compact from which the states have an absolute right to withdraw.  A second Trump term may alter the Left’s view of secession – beginning with sunny California.  

The United States was born of a secessionist movement.  It supported national independence when it was to our advantage - such as is the breakup of the Soviet Union.  The U.S.  joined in partitioning nations and redrawing the maps of Europe and the Middle East after World War I.  We consented to dividing Germany after WW II.  To this day, we defend Taiwan’s independence from Beijing.  So please, don’t try telling me that nations are sacred and insoluble.

Now, little history before I discuss the Pledge that do support.

The Pledge of Allegiance was invented by a marketing guy, Francis Bellamy, as promotional gimmick to help sell magazine subscriptions.  (As a lifetime marketing and advertising careerist, I love this part.)  it proved to be hit and by October of 1892, schools from coast to coast we started their day with the Pledge.  


The pledge gained traction during World War I as President Wilson railed against the “hyphenated-Americans” - Irish, Italian, German who opposed U.S. Intervention on the British side in what was little more than a classic European territorial war.  This is exactly what  George Washington advised us to avoid.  As the U.S. grew in belligerency and global ambition, the loyalty pledge grew in importance while America engaged in continuous hostilities – hot and old since the 1940s.  

The Pledge was adopted by Congress in 1942 a part of the national flag code (WW II).  “Under God” was inserted in the early ‘50s during the Cold War to remind us that Big Guy was on our side.  

Now I can support either two pledges atop this blog.  Anarchists  reject centralized power and coercion.  However, we do accept rules to live by.  Here are mine.

  1. You shall have no other gods before Me.
  2. You shall make no idols.

·        One and two tell me not to get too attached to the things of this world.  These remind me to reflect that there is higher power, higher intelligence, higher wisdom and higher love that which we see here on earth.  The Buddha teaches that Earthly attachment causes misery and only by looking higher, seeking the Enlightened Path will I rise above suffering.  Marxist subscribe to dialectical materialism that denies any god.  We see what misery that they have wrought.

  1. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
    • Sorry, I often do this when I’m upset. Nonetheless, it reminds us that some things are sacred and others profane.  It prohibits against invoking the Higher Power for the purpose of embellishing a lie or a half-truth ( let [a]your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.”)
  2. Keep the Sabbath day holy.

·        “The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath” .  Good people work hard.  They require rest and restoration.  We also need time tor quiet reflection - to count our blessings for the good things that we have, to evaluate our life goals and contemplate how we might achieve them.

  1. Honor your father and your mother.

·        Family is cornerstone of civil society.  Generations learn and pass on essential knowledge and wisdom. Burke teaches that society: " is a partnership in all science, a partnership in all art, a partnership in every virtue and in all perfection.....a partnership not only between those who are living, but between those who are living, those who are dead, and those who are to be born.”   This aligns with the  Hayek’s notion of emergent order.  The ways of the past may not always right, but the solutions that they prescribe are the outcome of years of trial, error and learning.  They should not be ignored or discarded haphazardly.

  1. You shall not murder.
    • Life is sacred from conception to natural death.  All life.  All lives.  No life shall be taken except in defense of life and liberty.  Shooting fleeing traffic offenders and robbery suspects in the back is not permissible.
  2. You shall not commit adultery.
    • A peaceful world is built on trust.  If you cheat on your  spouse who won’t cheat?  If you are unfaithful to the person to whom you are vowed to “love, serve and honor”, then how trustworthy can you be to friends, colleagues and business associates?
  3. You shall not steal.
    • Property rights and private property are the foundation of a free, civil society.  Period.  Capice?  The abject disregard for private property has impoverished socialist nations and is tearing apart the fabric of America.
  4. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
    • A society without trust is a society that descends into violence.  Demagogues who promise what government cannot deliver have engendered distrust, cynicism, disappointment, anger and resentment.  Politicians feed on these raw emotions to make even more outlandish promises and then blame scapegoats for their failure.
  5. You shall not covet.
    • This closes the loop with Commandments 1 & 2.  When we put material self-gratification ahead of higher aspirations, ahead of people, we lie, steal and murder.  Godless Communists lie, steal and murder.  The American government, whose flag I refuse to pledge to, lies, steals and murders.  They do so in the name of “democracy” and “equality”.

Jesus taught that all of the above can be distilled down to:

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Rabbi Hillel concurs. When asked if he could explain the Torah while standing on one foot he replied:

"What is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbor. That is the whole Torah; the rest is the explanation of this—go and study it!"

I subscribe to the Smithian wisdom that by freely acting in his or her own honest self-interest each human being improves the well-being of  the community.

Every individual... neither intends to promote the public interest, nor knows how much he is promoting it... he intends only his own security; and by directing that industry in such a manner as its produce may be of the greatest value, he intends only his own gain, and he is in this, as in many other cases, led by an invisible hand to promote an end which was no part of his intention.” 

Further, humans are self-regulated by their social desire to be accepted, admired and worthy of praise.

“Man naturally desires, not only to be loved, but to be lovely; or to be that thing which is the natural and proper object of love. He naturally dreads, not only to be hated, but to be hateful; or to be that thing which is the natural and proper object of hatred. He desires, not only praise, but praiseworthiness; or to be that thing which, though it should be praised by nobody, is, however, the natural and proper object of praise. He dreads, not only blame, but blameworthiness; or to be that thing which, though, it should be blamed by nobody, is, however, the natural and proper object of blame.”

That’s’ it, I pledge allegiance to God, His law, to liberty and justice for all.

If there is a flag that I must pledge this one is pretty good.


 This one is even better.

Bloodless Sacrifice

The signatories to the Declaration of Independence made a solemn pledge, “for the support of this declaration …. we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.”  They signed on for the whole ride, wherever that might end.

Love ‘em or hate’em, the great revolutionaries went all in. They laid their lives and liberty on the line.  Their deeds and sacrifices are the stuff of legends.   Mao on the Long March.  Che in the mountains.  Mandela in prison.  Debs in prison.  Truth tellers Solzhenitsyn, Assange and Snowden in exile.  Gandhi’s hunger strikes. Socrates drinking the hemlock.  Christ on the cross.  Rosa Parks on the bus. Luther facing down the Pope.  Bonhoeffer wrestling with his conscience then joining the plot to kill Hitler. 


Liberty icons like Ron Paul and Murray Rothbard were marginalized and ridiculed for intellectual honesty and commitment to principle.  Paul in the Republican Party,  Rothbard in academia, 

And then there are Milwaukee Bucks.  

The Bucks boycotted their Wednesday afternoon playoff game with the Orlando Magic to protest the shooting of Jacob Blake.   

We are all sick of these senseless shootings.  Libertarians abhor the initiation of force, let alone deadly force, except in the case of self-defense.  All people of good faith and good will want justice to be served.

What did the boycott change?  Nothing.  The NBA and corporate media are already in bed with cultural Marxism.  There is little that corporate America can do except to try the shooter in the media as they did with Richard Jewell.

But what did the Bucks sacrifice?  Absolutely nothing. 


Not money.  NBA players get paid millions of dollars for the regular season and a pittance for the playoffs.  Even if their pay was docked, - which it wasn’t – the sum is negligible.

Not a shot for a title.  The Bucks, who may be the best team in the league, were up 3-1 in their series with the lackluster Magic.  Even if they forfeited the game – which they didn’t – they were still a lock to win the series.

Not reputations.  According to USA Today – they are  now Titans that will alter human conscious and the course of history.

Immediately  the entire NBA fell in line as games were postponed across the board.  

Like anyone cares.  There are no fans in the stands and TV ratings are tanking.

Then the chickenshit MLB owners hopped on the bandwagon by postponing their games.  Again. no one cares.  

Baseball ratings  are in the toilet too.   Again, nothing was sacrificed.   If anything, Baseball may have scored brownie-points from a fawning press.

If something historical is happening, it may be the death of pro sports with its bloated salaries for bloated egos.  Good riddance.  Maybe American kids will be able to focus on something more useful in school than crossover dribbles and pass patterns.

But let’s face it, sports stars are not typically the deepest or most original thinkers.  They pickup cues from  the Hollywood glitterati that populate chat and award shows.  

These beautiful people come well-rehearsed with Marxist zingers and then repair to their gated homes in posh neighborhoods with private security.  These showbiz line repeaters get their opinions from eco-frauds who fly in private jets, a smug self-affirming media and cocooned, tenured academics who cower in fear of well-reasoned argument.   Dissenting voices are driven from the academy and off of campus.


These virtue signalers are too spineless to be called Social Justice Warriors.  They are not warriors in any sense of the word   They take no risks.  They sacrifice nothing.

The people who marched in Selma and in Montgomery, they were warriors.  The took risks. They paid the price.

The blathering classes might be best dismissed as Social Justice Weenies.  Or just Phonies.

The Great COVID Experiment

As football season fast approaches the National Football League will join hands with the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority and National Institutes for Health to undertake the first controlled, matched-cell design experiment on the communication and spread of the novel COVID-19 virus.  This longitudinal study will be conducted over the course of the NFL regular season in MetLife Stadium, home to the New York Giants and the New York Jets.

According to Dr Anthony Fauci of the National Institutes for Health, “MetLife Stadium is an ideal venue for this groundbreaking study.  It is one of only two stadiums in the United States that two teams use as their home field.” 

Having two teams with separate fan bases allows researchers to create a closely aligned matched pairs deign.   The sample controls for:

·        Demographics - Giants fans and Jets fans are closely aligned

·        Locale – the New York Metropolitan area

·        Seasonality – the observation period will be coincidental

·        Climate - both cells will experience the same seasonal weather changes

Dr Fauci notes that the seasonal climate was a key factor favoring New Jersey over Los Angels where two franchises also occupy a single facility.  “The shift from summer, though fall and into winter allows up to see how temperature changes affect infestation.”

The test design is simple.  New Jersey Governor, Phil Murphy, has given the Giants a social-distancing waiver, allowing them to play in a packed stadium in front of their fans.  Jets fans will be watching Jet’s home games from home.

Both Jets’ and Giants’ season ticket holders will be provided with special Fitbits that passively monitor key health indicators.  Fitbits will also be given to fans who visit MetLife on a single game basis.  The Fitbit bracelets will automatically lock to each wearer’s wrist. They will automatically unlock at the season’s end.  Participating fans may keep their devices, complements of the NFL and Fitbit, an underwriter of the study.

To incentivize fan participation, as well as to alleviate anxieties, title sponsor Anheuser-Busch will provide each Giant fan with a $50 gift card upon entering the stadium.  This card is good for the purchase of any AB beverage at the concession stands.  “Anheuser-Busch is proud and honored to do our part to ease the burden on these brave and loyal Americans ”, said AB CEO João Mauricio Giffoni de Castro Neves. “This Bud’s for you!”

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell noted that that this undertaking, "underscores the NFL's commitment to social responsibility". 

In a demonstration of bipartisanship, former Governor Chris Christie was on hand as a special guest of Governor Murphy.  Christie, an avid Dallas Cowboys fan said, “Today we all Big Blue”.

A delegation of CEOs from New Jersey’s leading pharmaceutical and bio-tech firms was also in attendance.

The New Kamalot and the Trojan Horse

Two ancient legends just collided - the Anglo-Celt fable of Camelot and the Grecian yarn of the Trojan Horse.  

The Kennedy family and their apologists wrapped the JFK presidency in the mantle of Camelot.  In this idyllic kingdom, even the weather abides by the whims of a benevolent ruler.  This ruse served the Hyannis mob well deflecting attention from their record of election fraud, mob connections, womanizing, the Bay of Pigs fiasco, the Vietnam escalation and more.



The new Kamalot was unveiled today.  A crusading Sheena ascended from the West to rescue the Republic and establish a new reign of love, harmony and justice.

This Kamalot is as fictitious the first.

This Princess of Progress, the daughter of a Stanford professor and a cancer research styles herself as a child of the hardscrabble hood.

Her record as prosecutor might qualify her to be a Trump appointee.  The Sacramento Bee reports that “her actions were sharply criticized by many activists in communities of color.”  The L.A. Times tells of her harassing low-income families with unpayable fines and jail time to improve school attendance.

She “opposed a state initiative to soften minimum mandatory sentences  The Washington Free Beacon tells how heroine “Packed California Prisons With Pot Peddlers”.    She obstructed marijuana legalization, body cameras for local police and endorsed the death penalty.

Her actions fell heavily on Communities of Color – particularly its young men.

In this summer of BLM rage, this track record would have her pilloried if she were of another sex, ethnicity, and party.

Although she has been on the public payroll since leaving law school, she has clear notions of what makes commerce hum while being green, just, and inclusive.

Yet the Queendomof Kamalot cannot be established as long she is but the second banana in the Republic.

Thus, we need a Trojan Horse.  The Warrior Princess will be snuck into Imperial City the as the

sidekick to the kindly and affable old fool.  He will be showered with hosannas and palms as he hugs and kisses his way to the throne room. 

Once inside, the Republic will witness history’s first coup by senescence.

And thus, the Queendom of Kamalot will be founded and Kamala shall reign.


Long live the Queendom of the Cop! Long may she rule by the sword, hammer and shackle.

"Taking the knee” will have a whole new meaning.






Kamalot! Kamalot!
I know it gives a person pause,
But in Kamalot, Kamalot
Those are the “legal laws

In short, there's simply not
A more deserving spot
For building the police state than here
In Kamalot.
